An organization specializing in making your coaching assignments, organizational development projects, and leadership development programs successful

Franklin & White, Inc. was founded in 1995 to provide support services to management development consultants. Business partners Barbara P. “Bobbin” Franklin and Katie R. White had worked together in leadership and organizational development—a combined 40+ years—where they became expert in assessment tools and instruments.

While at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Greensboro, NC, Bobbin and Katie introduced many innovations, including a centralized test processing function, a tuition reimbursement program for staff, a development program for executive secretaries and a scholarship program for nonprofit executives.

Bobbin Franklin
Bobbin began her career in 1973 as a training associate at CCL, coordinating programs, scoring instruments and designing programs and materials. By 1980, she was Manager of Support Services, which included managing and coordinating an extensive administrative staff and some 40 outside consultants in support of more than 150 training programs per year. In 22 years at CCL, Bobbin provided one-on-one feedback to over 500 program participants, trained feedback givers and was program facilitator for small group discussions. Bobbin is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Katie White
Katie started at the Center for Creative Leadership in 1973 as executive secretary to Visiting Fellows Donald MacKinnon and David Campbell. By 1981 she was the Center’s first female vice president. In her tenure she managed a variety of administrative functions, including marketing, registrations, test processing, telecommunications and publication sales. In her last position at CCL, she managed a staff of 28 handling program registrations and all test processing. She is a graduate of Guilford College, Greensboro, NC.

Mandy Moore
During 20 years with the Center for Creative Leadership, Mandy developed her skills in a variety of assignments, including program coordinator, information technology, client relationship management and contract writing. She was involved in designing and administering one of the first online and customizable 360 assessments. Mandy joined Franklin & White in 2005. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
